SERVICE REPAIRS AND INSTALLATION

I recognize how important it is for each of the appliances in a home to be repaired right away and working fine. As a proactive professional, I maintain a good stock of all of the most common parts. However, due to the vast selection of brands and models for each home appliance, having all the possible parts at hand is impossible. That’s why I strive to repair appliances within a 48 hour time frame. This is subject to the availability of the required parts at the local distributors. If you would like to view some of the installations and repairs I have completed, please check my Instagram @privateappliancestech

MY JOURNEY AS AN APPLIANCE TECHNICIAN

After graduating high school, I worked as an apprentice with a handyman. I painted homes, made minor wall repairs, along with sanding, roofing, and flooring. Afterwards, I pursued an Electronics Engineering diploma at Seneca College. Upon successful completion of my third semester, I realized my true passion lied in hands-on work rather than theory. Consequently, I visited Herzing College and found them to have all of the home appliances in their practical classes. This program consisted of an hour of theory and five hours of hands-on practice with machines. I successfully completed the program and obtained the certification for Domestic Appliance Repairs and Services (2017). After graduation, I worked for contractors of Whirlpool. Whirlpool owns many brands such as JennAir, KitchenAid, Maytag and Amana. These contractors also had contracts with Electrolux, Frigidaire, GE, LG, and Bosch. Therefore, I encountered immense exposure and acquired practical knowledge of all North American brands on the market. Furthermore, I worked on Saeco Coffee machines for 7 months while working for Nella Cutlery. Then, I decided to revisit the repairing and installation of all major home appliances (2020). However, this time with the European high-end brand, Miele. After servicing Miele appliances for a year, I decided to be in direct contact with my customers. Since (2021), I have been serving customers while representing myself and building my own reputation. I have now (2025) successfully completed Gas technician 3 and 2 programs at Herzing College and obtained G2 license. I aspire to gain refrigeration and G1 licenses and also complete plumbing and electrical training programs in the upcoming years.
